The blade is well balanced and appropriate for various cutting demands. The tsuka is 11 ¼” long is wrapped in brown silk over real black dyed same. The deep gold saya features a black-lacquered rattan wrap at the mouth. The koiguchi, kurikata and kojiri are real buffalo horn.
